Deep Cuts

It’s 3am right now, we just crossed North Carolina, we had an awesome time at both Formula Drift and SWD. Ill do more when I get home, but here’s how beautiful it was.

This is it, next week is go time. The team has been doing the simple stuff to get the car done. We’ve been having our “one week before race panics” but are handling them fine. I can’t wait for the ride. I know Mike is worried about a bunch of dudes in a truck together but in my head I’m saying “try going on tour in a 90’s Honda crv with no A/C and five dudes who forgot what a shower was sitting in equipment” it’ll feel like a hotel for me. Here’s one from this weekend.

I’m never able to get on here anymore! I know it sounds stupid and it only takes a couple of minutes but if I’m not in the mood to post I’ll just blow it off. I’m sorry everyone, it’s about to be drift season. Last post of mine I think my engine blew up, it’s only appropriate that this post announces that my engine is back!!!

I’ve been home from West Virginia for a while now. It was honestly one of the funnest events I’ve been too. The drive was fun with my new buddy Kenny Cano, you’ll know him from Club Loose always taking rad pictures. We also had Trevor, Reese and Mike in our truck, shit got real and Third Eye Blind was turned up to 10 (so we didn’t have to hear Kenny snore) we left around 2am realizing the alternator was bad and we’d have to find one in WV. Thankfully an autozone right next to the track had one left! We did the swap at 8am then hit the track. Bissey drove his sr20 car up too. Him and Reese were driving awesome after just a few runs. It was awesome meeting new friends and seeing old ones. This is what life is about. I’ll post more and an awesome in car video of it soon, but above is a screen shot from it!!!

I got a new oil pan, I’m not into starving my engine of oil anymore through turns. It’s crazy how no one gets it that I see trying to drive hard; I’m just glad I can afford this stuff now. Thank you Tomei!!!!

My cars been awesome lately, a few hiccups, pointless money spent on a friend not knowing how to use tools, coolant issues worked out but everything is finally in its right place. whatever you’re into doing, you can’t do it without friends. Yeah I’m married to Mckayla Maroney what’s up? I live for the Olympics and now they’re over, oh well. Back to car life.

My motor went back in today, having a problem with the intake on the new turbo, but nothing some cutting can’t handle. My shit gon’ be bad boi. Dewitt roasted his clutch and his cars been at my compound, he finally got it tonight. Good look Dewitt. We’re putting his new clutch in this week.

Owning the wheels you’ve wanted for an extremely long time is the best feeling in the world. These are 17x9 Sparco’s I picked up, four lug AND five lug, they’re jdm so don’t worry I’m keeping it real! My car was on a jack when I took that picture, so yes it’ll be lower, even though I bet it’ll drive better at that height hahaha, a little early birthday present for myself. Brake fade sucks, but blasting around long sweeping back road turns at 100mph plus does not suck. Letting our cars cool down. Word.
